Coach adults and older adults to stay strong.
We are hiring Longevity Fitness Coaches for home-visit and in-centre coaching across the Klang Valley.
This page is for fitness trainers and coaches who want to work with LongevityFitness. The role is Longevity Fitness Coach: you coach adults aged 35 and above, older adults and people with chronic conditions, at their homes and at our Putra Heights centre, with a physiotherapist overseeing the clinical side. If you are looking for coaching for yourself, see our services.
The role: Longevity Fitness Coach
You deliver exercise-led coaching across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, mostly as home visits and some in-centre sessions by appointment. Your clients are adults 35+, older adults and people living with conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or arthritis, after their doctor has cleared them to exercise.
What you will do
- Run baseline assessments with our test battery: sit-to-stand, grip strength, gait speed and VO₂ estimates.
- Deliver 12-week programmes built on strength, Zone 2 cardio, VO₂ max work and balance training.
- Re-test at the end of each programme and report progress to the client and to the supervising physiotherapist.
- Flag anything unusual to the physiotherapist before changing a plan.
The system behind this is described on our method page.
Who we are looking for
- A recognised personal training certification (for example REPs, FIMM, ACE, NASM or ACSM), or an exercise science or physiotherapy background.
- Real patience with older clients, including clients who are nervous about exercise.
- Your own transport for home visits across the Klang Valley.
- English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin, Cantonese or Tamil is a plus, because many clients are more comfortable in their own language.
What we offer
- Training in the LongevityFitness methodology, so you coach from a defined system and not from guesswork.
- Clinical oversight from a physiotherapist, so you have someone to consult on complex clients.
We discuss terms directly once we have spoken. Full-time, part-time and contract arrangements are all possible.

Questions from applicants
Do I need to be a physiotherapist to apply?
No. We look for a recognised personal training certification or an exercise science or physiotherapy background. A physiotherapist, Thurairaj Manoharan, provides clinical oversight so coaches are never working alone on complex clients.
Which certifications are accepted?
Any recognised personal training certification, for example REPs, FIMM, ACE, NASM or ACSM. We do not claim a partnership with any certifying body. A degree or diploma in exercise science, sports science or physiotherapy is also considered.
Do I need my own transport?
Yes. Most sessions are home visits across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, so you need reliable transport and a valid licence.
Is this full-time or part-time?
The role is open as full-time, part-time or contract. Tell us which you prefer and how many days a week you can commit when you message us.
What does the hiring process involve?
A WhatsApp introduction, a chat with the team, a practical assessment session where you run our test battery, then onboarding in our methodology.
