Longevity exercise coaching in Old Klang Road

Premium, physiotherapist-led training, delivered to your door in Old Klang Road.

Why Old Klang Road

Old Klang Road is a long-established southern KL corridor of Chinese-majority neighbourhoods, from the older terraces of OUG and Kuchai Lama to the condos of Taman Desa.

Old Klang Road is one of KL's most multi-generational corridors: grandparents who bought in OUG or Taman Desa in the seventies and eighties, often still living in the same double-storey terrace, with adult children nearby in the newer condos along Jalan Klang Lama. The common worries we hear are a parent who has slowed down after a fall, knees that complain on the stairs, or a check-up showing diabetes or high blood pressure. Home sessions are the easiest way to keep them strong without fighting the traffic.

Old Klang Road's morning exercise culture is real: tai chi and brisk walking in the OUG and Taman Desa parks before the heat, and the stroll around Pearl Point or Mid Valley when it rains. We build on that habit rather than replacing it, adding the leg strength and balance work that keeps those morning walks safe for another twenty years, trained at home.

We know Old Klang Road, from Jalan Klang Lama to Pearl Point, and build training around your real life here.

Your first home visit in Old Klang Road

  1. Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us who the training is for, your goals and any health conditions. We confirm whether your part of Old Klang Road fits our schedule and explain cost before you commit.
  2. Baseline assessment at home. A physiotherapist tests your strength, aerobic fitness, balance and mobility, plus a look at your space and routine, so the plan starts from your real starting point.
  3. A plan dosed to you. Coached sessions in your home or condo gym, with short homework for the days in between. Conditions are worked around alongside your doctor's advice, never against it.
  4. Re-test every 12 weeks. The same tests again, so you and your family can see what has improved and what we adjust next.

Want a head start? Try the chair-stand test or the fall-risk check, then read how our method works.

Google reviews of Kinesio Rehab, the Putra Heights clinic where Thurairaj (Raj) and his team train clients, and our in-centre base.

“Mr. Raj was very patient with me, a 66 year old lady with osteoporosis. Help me to realize my potential to build strength. Would definitely recommend him anytime. Meanwhile am still training under him.”

“I've been working with Raj every few weeks for the last 2 months to help design a weights program with me. I'm a reasonably fit 40yo and he's helped create a 45min program and ensured I'm doing the reps in the right way. Easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.”

“Working with my trainer at Kinesio Rehab has been a game-changer for my fitness journey... a totally new experience with PT for me! She doesn't just put me through a workout; she takes a holistic approach by helping with form, consistency and building confidence in the gym.”

“Brought mum for her standing posture and shoulder alignment issues. There was improvement after the first session itself for posture. After 4 sessions, standing posture and shoulder has improved so so much.”

When pain or injury gets in the way

Longevity training starts from where your body is today. If pain, an old injury or a recent operation is holding you back, Raj is a physiotherapist first: we treat and rebuild, then progress you into strength and fitness work. Exercise with pain, injury or limited mobility

“Mr. Raj is a very professional, knowledgeable, and caring physiotherapist. He took the time to understand my condition, explained the treatment clearly, and provided excellent care throughout my sessions. I noticed significant improvement in my pain and mobility after the treatment.”

FAQs: Old Klang Road

My mother in OUG already does tai chi every morning, does she need anything more?

Tai chi is excellent for balance, so keep it. What it doesn't do well is build leg and hip strength, which is what protects against falls and keeps getting up from a chair easy. We add two short strength sessions a week at home, matched to her level, and the two work together.

Do you cover Kuchai Lama and Taman Desa as well as OUG?

Yes. Our Old Klang Road home visits cover the whole corridor along Jalan Klang Lama, including OUG, Kuchai Lama, Taman Desa and the condos near Pearl Point. If you're unsure about your street, just ask on WhatsApp.

How do home visits in Old Klang Road work?

We come to your home or condo in Old Klang Road, bring compact equipment, and run the session in your own space at a time that fits your week. In-centre sessions are also available by appointment at Putra Heights.

What does it cost?

We price by programme rather than a fixed menu. Message us on WhatsApp with your goals and we'll be clear about cost before you commit.
